What is Roll20?
Roll20 is a startup virtual tabletop company that runs completely in your internet browser or tablet. The service can easily connect with friends across the globe via video and voice chat to play tabletop roleplaying, board and card games. The company is a little over three years old after a successful Kickstarter campaign, but presently boasts a userbase of over 800,000 gamers! Most importantly, getting a game up and running is completely FREE!
I've happily served as a site moderator for two years and presently taking a break to follow other pursuits. Beyond forum moderation, I've assisted in a bunch of tasks to help the site continue to grow and improve, which includes:

I've happily served as a site moderator for two years and presently taking a break to follow other pursuits. Beyond forum moderation, I've assisted in a bunch of tasks to help the site continue to grow and improve, which includes:
- Built the 3D dice models used for their virtual rolling
- Assisted with writing help documentation and maintaining their wiki
- Hosted two convention panels and was a panelist for a third panel for ConTessa 2013 Gaming Convention and aided Roll20’s panels at GenCon 2013
- Researched RPG systems and hosted/participated in live games on Twitch as a representative of Roll20
- Converted several RPG adventures from Pathfinder third-party publishers as well as several other brands to the Roll20 platform and crafted graphic and press release copy advertising for them
- Scripted, Recorded, Edited and Released a suite of help videos on the Roll20 platform as well as RPG Playing Basics on Roll20’s official help YouTube channel
- Released two art packages on the Roll20 Marketplace as part of the Mentor Token Gift Set program
- Testing new platform features and filed bug reports from the user base
- Provided basic tech support on the forums
Roll20 Video Documentation
I created a series of fifteen tutorial videos for Roll20 that span basic features, general use and RPG basics. All videos were scripted, recorded and edited by myself using Screencast-o-Matic and Adobe Premiere. They can all be located on the Roll20 Help Channel.
The video below is part one of a three episode video series that serves an introduction to gamers to tabletop RPGs. You can watch entire playlists on the YouTube channel.

Roll20 Marketplace Content
Toasty Thaumaturgy
This is a 25 piece art asset package that was design for Roll20 to distribute to their Mentor subscribers for the November '13 Mentor Token Gift Set. It's also available for purchase on the Roll20 Marketplace. This series of PNG files are an assortment of different fire spell templates that are compatible with various tabletop roleplaying systems.

Chaotic Conjuration
This is a 27 piece set released in spring of 2012 as another Mentor Token Gift Set. Like Toasty Thaumaturgy, Chaotic Conjuration was another series of spell templates specifically targeted for all sorts of non fire-based elemental and environment effects: mists, portals, holy domains, evil ones, and several others! If you're a Roll20 Mentor, you already have access to these. If not and you wish to buy them directly, you can do so here.
